Passepartout Montenegro presents ‘Muzika sa crnogorskog dvora’, a cycle of four concerts in Herceg Novi, Nikšić, Cetinje and Bar during 2026. The programme features works by Montenegrin and foreign composers of the 19th century connected with the court of King Nikola. The cycle is dedicated to maestro Radovan Papović (1950–2022), founder of the Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra, who first performed this programme at the Bar Chronicle festival in 2000.

Short biography of the maestro

Born in Herceg Novi, Radovan Papović shaped the musical life of Montenegro from the conductor's podium for more than two decades. He conducted the RTV Titograd Symphony Orchestra, taught choral singing and orchestra at the Music Academy, and founded the Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra.
